Past my test 10 months ago in UK(5 day course) I bought a 96 cbr600f. still have it now after 3000 miles under my belt no problems. It’s very forgiving for the new rider to this class of bike. Mistakes I made so far, watch your stopping distance in the wet and every one else is a complete %!¤ don’t put yourself in a situation where you hope they wont cos they will. Last points have a play with the suspension settings when you read a bit more about it. Mine might have been good for the last owner but not me, bad back and bounced around its set up too stiff. As a new rider you’re not going to treat the cbr as the seasoned guys/girls so enjoy the ride by softening it up a bit. Always do your life saver and your going to have a grin on your face every time you get your helmet off.
