Hello, new to the forum and the bike. Recently bought a 1995 CBR 600 F3 and I love it for the most part. It slips out of second gear and into neutral when any amount of gas is given to it. Has anyone else had any problems similar to this? I have been told that it can be a common problem when the bike has a lot of quick starts.

At the moment, I´m probably going to be disassembling the tranny to figure out what is wrong. I just wanted to see if anyone had any tips (or the same problem). I suspect the second gear(16T or 33T), Gearshift drum or any of the forks, or all the above need to be replaced.

Yeah, I also managed to get the entire service manual for this lovely motorcycle. I bought it from a dealership that I am suspecting didn´t disclose ALL it´s faults. Blah, oh well. I´ll let you all know what happens, but I feel the bike is well worth the effort!
