i own the same bike and the same thing happened to me. as for the rattle my was a the tensioner. apparently this parts helps keep the camshaft chain nice and snug. i still havent gotten mine replaced because the bike wont start after it just died on me on day. if you have already found out all the promblems that yours has please post what there were and how to fix them. thanks krazykory
