Bike killed three batteries in three months

This is my first street bike. Prior to it being given to me it killed two batteries. I got it with a brand new one and now it is dead too. Fortunately no money out of my pocket.

Any ideas what the problem is? Alternator Generator?
Familliar with cars but not b
