Without any mods - i.e. completely stock - my best reading was exactly 12,000 rpm in sixth.
That´s equal to 240 km/h (which in turn is more or less precisely 150 mph).
This occurred on vacation in Germany (Autobahn), and the bike was relatively new .
I carried a tankbag that prevented me from getting my head down ;
the wind pressure above the fairing was just unbearable !! After aprox 15-20 sec. I just had to give in. (I was racing a tuned Nissan 200 SX) .
The bike also outperformed a GPX 750 -88 : handling wasn´t even comparable , but surprisingly even top speed beat the Kaw.
