Learnt about the site through my partner who´s selling a her little Honda scooter. I´ve put my CBR up for sale too. Basically cos i can´t get my left foot onto the footpeg until I´ve done a bit more physio on my pinned knee. I´ve never been able to get my head aroud the Jap fours vs the italian twins thing so I´ve got both. So whats so great about the CBR 600 F. Its the right size for any man 6ft or over. Whats with the ever smaller sport bike thing anyway? Its looks right, and you can sit on it properly. I´m sorry but the current crop of sportbikes must have been designed by somebody who likes seeing mens leather clad butts in the air. Add to this the position of the single pipe on the CBR 600 RR and things get decidedly dodgy. More or less the same for the R1, fireblade, Kawas & Gixers. So, the CBR F - dignified, capable, fast, certainty in handling, inexpensive (compared to the above). Unfortunately most people dont come back to this great alrounder till they´ve ridden every bit of extreme crap going. Then they realise.... yeah the cbr was more comfortable, just about as fast, dependable, even sexy in some colours. Oh and its insurable. And the ducati....... well that was for my weekly trip to Cafe Nero and Bar Italia. Gotta be done really! |
