Answer to earlier question - 98 CBR600 is water cooled and has carburetors - not fuel injected. Second gear jump out is probably bad news, somebody has been overdoing the ´monos´ ´wheelies´ (getting the front wheel off the ground by gunning in second gear), usually means painful gearbox surgery - sorry. The RR bike is more sports set up split seat and lower bars, but spec wise very similar - reports suggest the standard handles better off the track and with slightly higher riding position is a better option!!! Great Bike whichever one you have - good riding. JB
