Hey all, I´m looking at buying a used 2009 F800GS with under 5000 miles. I´ve read so many reviews I´m sure it´s the bike I want. The only thing I don´t know is what´s the oil capacity of the crank case? I´m also assuming the tranny case and engine case are not separated like some KTM´s... I´ve been emailing the seller since he lives a couple hundred miles from me and feel confident all is up to snuff. I contacted the dealer he´s had all services done and they confirmed everything the seller told me. I have no doubt the bike is in like new condition with several accessories. I had a 2009 KTM 990 for a couple years but didn´t enjoy the oil changes and think the BMW will be easier. Plus the mile frequency is less. I currently have a 2009 KTM 450exc that I will be selling and a 1984 Honda Nighthawk S with under 20k on it. I appreciate any comment. Thanks, Jim |
