I am very interested in the F 800 GS. I have been reading alot about them, a couple questions for anyone that can help, are parts (upgrade, repairs, performance) hard to find? I live in Washington state and want to make trips to California to go ride the desert there, is a 1,000 mile road trip a bit long on this bike?
how is the comfort on the long trips for the street, I will be mostly commuting back and forth onto the military base, but there are lots of trails to hit as well. How is the reliability?
I rode an R6 for a while, is the power manageable, I dont want a crotch rochet but I want something that will get out of its own way with plenty to spare.
I know this is a million questions but I just have been writing dealers and no one seems to be too helpfull on the info.
please if anyone can help me out I would greately appreciate it.
