Hello Ric, hope you can help me. I also just bought a CBR 150 R in Thailand and managed the export to Germany by my own. Now my bike is in Hamburg harbour and I get problems with the authorities here, because they told me that this bikes enginge is not according to EU 3 norm. They said that every bike which is imported to the EU after january 2007 have to make a exhaust fumes analysis and in my case they think, because the CBR 150 R has an carburettor and not a fuel injection engine , it will not pass the analysis and will not get a license and a number plate. Please tell me if you also had to make a exhaust fume analysis in UK and how do you pass it. Do you have any document referring to the exhaust fume analysis which you can fax me. Of course I shall pay for this. Because in the moment I have a brand new wonderful bike without getting any chance to receive a number plate from the local police, technology branch. They advice me to search for somebody already import this bike to Europe and get the okay, means legalization and number plate from his authorities. If I can manage to get any document refering the exhaust fumes from him, they will except this and allow me to drive my CBR in Germany too. Please contact me Ric. Thanks.
