Made the plunge awhile back and bought my first bike, ´97 Ducati Monster 750 for $800. It was in great shape except for the engine. Got in just enough riding time to realize that I NEED to be riding a hell of alot more. Well needless to say the Duc needed repairs and they cost an ass load and well to make a long story short, screw waiting I want to ride now! So the Monsters getting parted and the money is going towards a new bike. Done my research and looked around and I have to say, the new 919 in the green makes my heart beat faster. I want someone to play devils advocate, why should I not get this bike other than I´m a bit leary of the 919 engine coming off the Ducati 750 twin? All the looks and then some of the monster and all the power and reliability of a honda in the coolest damn color I have ever seen, whet the hell are the draw backs? Any advice would be appreciated.
