I have heard two things on fuel with motorcycles in general. The first was you should only use high grade fuel due to the high compression in the engine. I am VERY suspicious of this and I don´t trust it. The second which several people have told me is high grade fuel will burn to hot in the bike and the motorcycles actually need a certain amount of impurities in order to run well and keep running. I use regular unleaded (1981 CB750C) and it works just fine. I do however put a dab of carb cleaner in it (I just put a small amount (around 1 tbl spoon)) in every other fill up, and it works well. |
