Front brakes slowly lock |

Ok I am at a point of utter frustration with this. 1981 CB750C After a time (heat is a factor) the left front brake locks. It is a slow process that involves an increase in pressure in the brake lines. As the heat outside goes up the presure increases and that brake applies itself until it locks the wheel. As soon as I open the bleeder nipple a small amount of brake fluid squirts out and then the brake is free again until the presure in the line goes back up. what I have done thus far: I bled out the old fluid replacing it with new (old fluid was seriously oxidized as the bike had apparently been sitting for years before it was given to me). blow out all the fluid with a compressor and then refill the lines. bleed the lines again after the full flush to assure I had no air bubbles. I have new pads comming in Fri but I donĀ“t think that will help in this case. |
