I´ve got a 1978 cb750K. I went on a ride today, and it the bike seemed SSUUPPEERR sluggish. My brother noticed the other day the back brake seemed a little stiffer then normal and asked what i had done, i didn´t touch them. If I´m sitting in traffic in idle, the bike is acting like the brake is on, and when i down shift it slows WAY down. I know this isn´t smart, but i tried to pop the clutch to get it to turn, and i have dropped it on both sides, because i have to kick start it to get it to turn. I´m sure the brakes are shot, but i just conformation. I brother bought it last season, and it´s my first, so I´m very inexperienced with maintenance on. Is this common for older bikes, or just bikes that need new brakes. Also if the bike has 38k miles on it, should i change the shocks?
