try taking the spark plug out and puting about an ounce of marvel mystery oil in the top of the head. You might have a stuck valve and this should do the trick. Just put it in the spark plug hole and let it sit overnight, then try and start it up. Worst case it will foul the plug. I did this on my 74 CB550 and it worked like a charm.
