hey daryl....just to try to save u some future problems and expenses, cause i´ve learned alot about dealin with this little bike. if u havent already go buy a brand new battery...fill it with acid and let it charge all the way....make sure u trickle charge it at least once a week and buy a new battery at the start of every season. or at any point when it seems the battery is losin charge or not holding it very well....ie slow turning over on start-up or dimming lights. these bikes are also known for charging problems..burnin out the regulator and especially the rotor/flywheel. if ur battery is strugglin to keep charge u´ll burn the rotor in 2 weeks of riding...trust me. if ur battery gets low dont rely on the charging system on the bike to charge it, it strains the rotor too much....take it out and charge the battery overnight....if it does it again replace the battery......but if u battery´s not brand new then go get a new one....again just trust me on this one. 28 bucks for a new battery is alot better than 200 for a reconditioned rotor and i´ve been through 4.
