hey, yeah buddy i got the answer for you....i wish there was someone to answer this for me when i was dealin with it....put in a new air filter and remove the cover from your air filter....take off the side cover, and there is another black cover that holds the airfilter in place. get rid of that cover...its too restrictive, u dont get evough air at the higher rpm so ur flooding out the engine...you can reuse the same bolts for the air filter, just get some small washers and use those to hold the air filter in place....i actually ended up puttin my filter back on but only after i cut it out(significantly) and produced a ram air effect. if you notice the opening for the filter faces backwards....might have worked good as ram air if it faced forwards but it wont fit like that....just take it off and go for a ride....its that easy
