Help for First start

Hello
I was trying to start my 85 Honda Nighthawk 650sc after I do my carb clean. Spark plugs is good, air filter cleaned but when I start it for the first time I connected the battery with my car battery and tried to push the start button. It didn’t start. It has air came out 2 or 3 times from exhausted pipe and somewhere under the carb like a gun shot. Now the starter didn’t click. Sound click from the solenoid starter only. First time for fixing by YouTube.
Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks
