$300 is a very good price..Any clean good running 550 is worth that much :)

I have a 78 550K with 16,000 miles on it and last time I check it´s value was around $750.00.
With gas as high priced as it is I would snatch it up and use it for short commutes or ride to work..ect..ect.

Bottom line IMO..It´s a very fair deal for you.
