Electrical Problem

I just acquired a CB500 with 5000 miles... it ran for a few hours then the electrical system cut out... nothing,,, dead... I checked the fuse coming off the positive battery terminal line... looks fine... I am no mechanic (obviously)... any ideas what I can check?
