I have the 2001 edition. I think they don´t have differences. I like it and I do everything I want with this bike except racing. I don´t think is good enough for that. CB500 just opens your appetite, it puts you to the ´big´ category, you say nice words for it but you will probably sell it to by a bigger one if you have the money. My only problem is with the rear suspension which is very soft and if someone have a reliable solution I´d like to hear it.
