What´s the performance/MPG like on 33bhp restricted models

I´m thinking about doing my A2 test (as I don´t want to fork out for DAS) and getting a CB500 and getting it restricted to the 33BHP limit. Does anyone know what the performance and fuel economy is like? Does it cause any problems with this model bike?
