After first ride, it would idle high while stopped and began blowing smoke. Kinda smelled like fuel. When I gained access to the air filter, there was just a little screen and a metal plate cutout lying on top of it ... is this correct??? After a few days of riding the idle got better and smoke seemed virtually gone. However, I have to keep the rpmĀ“s very low, cause it bogs down once over certain point (no rpm gauge on this model). I adjusted the screws on the bottom of both carbs and it RAN great. It had great power. The problem was, the idle acted up a bit again, and once it began stalling out. It also spilled gas out of the drainage hose coming from the carb after I turned it off. Do i just need to bring it to a pro who get tune in these carbs???
