Ok I just got a 78 400a. dealer said possible timing problem.
bike starts and idles, put in gear and runs with no power then stalls. starts again same thing. Race engine in neutral and runs up to a quick idle then stalls. Put bike on center stand and ran it in gear, same thing, stalls before high rpm/idle.
Is it timing? or CDI? or? bike has 8k miles on odometer.
