I bought one last year and have not had any such problem as I have easily gone over 70; that was fast enough for me so I did not try the upper end. Try front wheel bearings or bent fork. It does not take much at elevated speeds for any misalignment or physical defect to show up. I strongly suggest that you do not ride at those speeds until you figure out what is happening for as my MC riding instructor emphasized - it is not a question of if you will fall but when you will fall.
