Check all electrical connections very carefully. Pull the connectors apart, check for corrosion, dirt, loose, etc. Sometimes these can act up when warm, though they look fine. Especially battery terminals and all grounds. Check the battery, water level and load test. Check the charging system output too. Could be the coils, not too unusual for those to screw up when hot. Do a compression test, a leakdown test would be great too, might be a slight warp in the head, though I´ve never heard of this with these bikes. Dump about 1/3 can of Sea Foam in the gas and run it through that tankful. Won´t hurt, and amazing the good it can do! I assume you are using 10w40 motorcycle oil? If not, switch to that. Let us know what you find! |
