I used bikez.com for information while deciding which motorcycle to buy for my first bike. I bought a 1976 CB 400 F Super Sport in excellent condition about 9 weeks ago. In a nutshell, I love the thing. I´ve put almost 4500 miles on the bike, and for me and my personality, it´s hard to imagine a better learning bike. (Especially considering the price....)
Mine looks more like the motorcycle listed under the "1975 Honda CB 400 F" on this site, than it does the one shown here.
Yesterday I got caught in some torrential rain before sunrise (coming home from work out in the countryside in Southern Ontario) and my little Super Sport´s performance has made a believer out of me.
