| Sissy Old Wing is a 1978 Honda CB400A. This is my first bike. I got her from a friend´s uncle. He got it from someone else, I think the previous owners drove it until about 1986. (that is the last parking sticker) I dont know if the previous owner or friend´s uncle did this but, sissy had a big faring that was almost for a GOLDWING on her!!!!!!!! NOT RIGHT!!! Anyhow, I thought ....hey, for $300, It runs...a bit ugly...but runs!! I got her home...ripped that big windjammer off there!!! Went to a local motorcycle junkyard, got a headlight ...complete with turn signals and brackets.It would have been nice to have a wiring diagram! I gave Sissy a bath...battery, tires, and cleaned the carbs..Now she´s not so bad. It has been a good bike to learn on for me! The more I see this bike I think the more it grows on me! I am always looking for more info on this bike. Is it true that this bike is a classic??? I would like to know where I can get an original owner´s manual..if anyone knows. I will try to get some pictures posted also!! |
