Hi, Folks, just found this forum. I have been driving my 1975 CB 360T since 1986 and bought it from its second owner. At first I found it more like my old CB160 than the 300 Dream I also once had. The Dream was more like a nightmare--poor handling and bad weight distribution and no help to me when I dumped it in a ditch back in 1972 (best not to lean down to adjust the choke when you´re rounding a curve on a country road...). Cost me more to fix the dream than to fix myself, to boot. I use my 360 for short hauls, grocery runs, nothing more than 50 miles/75km in total because it´s not a comfortable bike. At highway speeds it vibrates and will leave your hands numb after a couple of hours. Helps to wear gloves. The seat is the same dang seat they had on the 69CB160--which is not much of a seat. More like a hard bench. I put on a full front faring with windshield and that helped a lot. Couple of saddlebags make it useful. I drive it four or five months a year, but I´ve only got 23,000 miles on the odometer, so it´s cherry, mechanically, and no, it´s not for sale. I suppose it sounds like I\ |
