Strictly speaking you should rejet if you put an open exhaust on. But very often you get away with it. Judge by your spark plug colour and condition. I recommend not to open up the pipes. %&#!¤es off people for no reason and it is more likely you loose power instead of gaining any. Big bike accessory chains should have off the shelf mufflers. I bought my last set for little money in the UK.
