I´ve had the stator fixed 4 times on my 250 rs. It seems the large winding knuckle keeps rattling loose. I´m wondering if this is an inherent design problem as the stator design doesn´t look too solid. Electrix in England has an after-market stator that looks much better design wise. However the wires are not color-coded and slight modifications have to be be made in order to fit this stator under the side cover. Hence, I didn´t purchase it. Anyway, has anyone else experienced mechanical failure regarding the stator on the RS?
