If you have the money to think about adding a ninja tranny you really should be looking for a new bike. I would just change the sprocket and maybe add some pods to it. Also just making sure you have correct tire pressure helps increase the top end. It´s not much obviously but it´s definitely worth it, keep the tire from uneven wear and prevents a blow out.
