i just baought a nighthawk 250 last saterday. i dont have my permit yet (too young by 5 months) so i have been just riding around in the grass. the acceleration doesnt feel too bad. and it starts up wonderfully even in the cold. the only thing is it takes a little to warm up.
pulling in the clucth is a little wierd if you are used to dirtbikes. you dont have to pull the clutch in even half way, and you have a little free play (naturally)but a little more than usual, so it feels alittle odd for a little bit.
the seat position is comfortable though might be a bit cramped on long trips for me i am 5´10". i havent ridden it enough to tell if it is a bit cramped. tell you wen i have it on the road.
doesnt have the best acceleration, but you can still tell when it accelerates, you can feel a slight pull on your arms.
REAL fun to ride, not as fun as dirtbiking but still fun.
