You don´t need to change trannys to get highway speed. just drop a tooth or two on the rear sprocket. That will drop your RPMS and keep your engine alive longer. Check out the CB250 Yahoo group. They have lots of free speed mods for the hawk that will help you keep up with the larger bikes.
