I have a loud whine/vibration occasionally when I´m coming to a stop. Clutch in or out, low speed, hot or cold. It´s loud and seems to come from the engine. I can´t localize it due to the intermittent nature and helmet laws in Oregon US. I seem to remember years ago someone mentioned a starter issue might cause the whine/noise/vibration?? Anyone heard of this? I´m getting worried it might lock at speed or something.
