I have a 2001 blackbird and I have to adjust the idling nob to13,000rpm. When I start my bike cold it usually started at high rpm then it would idle itself back to normal. Now I have to keep the throttled at over 13,000 rpm to keep it from turning off when I start it cold. I have noticed I waist more gas now. Is there a spring adjustment on the nob that is bad or the idling cable adjustment itself? I run good gas and has good response on the road so its not the injectors. Please respond thanks.
