Buddy that´s an easy fix don´t worry the reason the bike shuts off is because the kick stand is still down it´s suppost to do that when you put it in gear it shuts the bike off it´s a safety device so you can´t take off with out putting it up if your stand is up you have a faulty kill switch hope this helps!!
