I had a 1991 CBR thou that had a `sticking` gear lever, so much so that whilst in the lakes, it actually ceased solid in 3rd. I took it to a magnificent Honda Dealer in Windermere who sent me to the pub for a few hours while he `un-ceased` it. It had just clogged up with crap. Right as rain after that !!
