There is a stainless steel cover on the left side of the gear box with two screws, take the screws and remove the cover,you can see a bolt in the middle, unscrew it you can see a hole, there you can check the gear oil level.
I checked it recently according to the manual. But can’t see oil under cool engine. So not sure which it’s under cool or warm engine
