Hi Biker Doods and Dames

I have a technical problem that someone may be able to help with.
My Twin reciently started having problems with the revcounter and now it does not work at all. At the same time the fuel pump started giving problems and so i took it out. The bike is still running but aint got the vooma that i loved so much any more.
Are these two problems linked? and what is the problem?
Please help me get my baby up to its former glory if you have had this problem
