I have a 2004 919. After breaking it in, I hit a true 235 kph (147 mph) on a slight downhill. Most speedos read high, so I go by my RPM and gearing. You can find gearing charts on the internet. Make sure you get your tire diameter accurate. After 6000 km I installed titanium slip-ons, but haven´t gone any faster. It´s real fast to 135 mph, then the last bit takes a while. A great backroads bike. I love it.
