Hey John, it´s been a while, but I´ve been on my 599 probably the whole time. I love it. I grew up on four strokes, so I´m used to it´s smoothness. One thing I did have to learn how to do was turn tightly. Now, it´s my favorite way to ride. I do agree about the rear brake, but the front brake is great. I´ve only had mine up to about 100, and the wind does get annoying. It stays rooted to the ground, though. Too bad the ´06 model has inverted forks! I hope you´re doing well with your 599.
