I am also an older rider, 67, and just got financing for the 2009 Yamaha V Star 950 with only 2, 235 miles. Have read three comments on this site about heat build up between the thighs on this model from three women. Don´t know if this is just for women only as my friend son is a city cop with a big Harley and of course rides it all day, , have never heard him complain about it. My friend has the two sons who ride, the cop, and the baby boy, 39, a reservist who rides a 750 Shadow and thinks I´m too old to ride. ...says I should get a trike. Well, summer is here and I plan to do a lot of riding on my new bike. I watch Diners, Drive Inns, and Dives, from time to time and plan to check out these places in other states. Happy and safe riding to all you 2 and 3 wheelers.
