My name is Lucas and I own a 2009 Yamaha V-Star Tourer. On February 26th, 2012 my rear bearing also seized up and caused about $2700 worth of damage to parts. Since my bike is 6 months out of warranty, Yamaha refuses to take responsibility. I am currently preparing to take Yamaha to court over this defect. I would like to ask you some questions about what happened to you and I would be more than willing to provide my details to help you out.

If anyone else out there has had a similar issue, please let me know through the forum or contact me at lucascleric@hotmail.com. Thank you!
