1200 SE forum, I just purchased a 99 1200 SE #157 with 7100 miles on the odometer. Appears very clean and I can´t wait for the weather to break so I can ride it. I´m really a dirt biker rider with some road and road race school experience. I really wanted the smaller 995 cc model but couldn´t pass this one up. Right here in town and the private party agreed to take a Honda CX500 in trade. A 1200 cc 147 HP bike seems mighty big and scary to me. I am a pilot also, but haven´t even flown at 172 mph in a small plane let alone on 2 wheels on the ground. Sure is a beautiful machine! Pat Reilly Rockford, IL |
