I don´t think Aprilia awared of this problem. Beacause I own 2006 Caponord and it is too produce heat as a burner. I think chassis and seat get hot from the back cyclinder. I covered inside of the chassis and bottom of the seat with contexture asbestos. It helped to reduce heat about 50%. By the way, it is a good feature for winter rides.
