When the fuel petcock is turd to one Free flowing gas out of the carburetors generally indicate stuck floats in the carbs. Seafoam fuel addative is a good cleaner and dosen´t hurt to be used on a regular basis per product instructions. 1. I never leave the fuel valve in the on position even at a convenience store. 2. For extended periods of non use always put the bike on its center stand. Using the side stand can allow the floats to stick as the fuel slowly evaporates over time, the right side carbs full will also drain into the left side carbs by gravity. The right side carbs dry/stick first because they are higher. From my experience as the owner of 3 Honda fours. Learned the fuel valve shut off real quick by going into the garage one morning to an empty tank and a garage full of fumes. Lucky for me I didn´t have a lit cigarette in my mouth. p.s. the overflow hose are needed to get the fuel to the ground and not all over a possible hot engine. (Fire Safety)
