What are the specs for the handle bars?

I am brand new to working on motorcycles; I am trying to teach myself to repair and modify my 79 cb750f. I spent last weekend working on the carbs and there is still a little more work to be done there, but my next project will be changing out the original handlebars with drag bars. I want to make sure I order the right diameter bars. I think they are 7/8
