| Hello, i purchased a 1986 fzx700 a few weeks ago. Bike runs great at lower rpm starts and idles good bike is bone stock. I was headed down the highway the other day and after about 5 minutes at 65mph 5k rpm the bike started to cut out very bad almost like turning the switch off and on. Was very speratic, got off the highway onto back roads and if i kept it under say 3k 3500 rpm it was fine. I tried to bypass the fuel pump relay and that didnt help, i pulled the breather put of the gas cap, nothing. has a new pump, new plugs, coils read 163ohms book calles for 150 +- 10%. Im lost i live the bike but this has me stumped |
