My dad passed away last winter and I inherited his 86´ Yamaha Fazer and 09´ VMax. I know for sure I´m keeping the Max (beats the hell out of my Sportster), but I´m on the fence about the Fazer. It´s been sitting in a barn for the better part of ten years now. All the parts are there...it´s got quite a bit of body rust, could use a new paint job, the tank needs to be replaced, the rear breaks are frozen, and the clutch seems to be stuck open. Other than that, it´s still good...looks great, even covered in dust, and the engine is still fine. I guess what I want to know is how much I could expect to get if I sold it, and if I decided to keep it, how much would it cost to get her road-worthy again. I would appreciate any input.
